Accessorize Your Toga For Maximum Effect
The best way to make your costume go from good to great is to add some accessories or props to really finalize the outfit.
I remember a friend of mine back in college dressed up as Spock one Halloween. He thought the Star Trek shirt, black pants and replica phaser would be enough to convince other party-goers who he was dressed as.
Everyone kept mistaking him for Mr. Sulu because Mr. Sulu is Asian and so is my buddy. All night he kept saying that he was supposed to be Spock. All he needed to do to convince people was to wear some plastic pointed ear accessories. Of course Spock had pointy ears. Make sure you accessorize properly to leave no doubt as to who, or what you’re trying to be.
